Types of resin floors

There are different resin materials, distinguished by mechanical and structural properties such as flexibility, impermeability and chemical stability.

Resin coatings according to the scope of use

Each resin floor has its own peculiarities. Therefore, each formulation must represent the ideal performance mix for the context in which the surface will be made.

Our technicians will be able to recommend the best solution for making resin floors and surfaces. During the design phase, a 'careful analysis is carried out to screen the conditions of use and the area (industrial, civil, commercial) in which the flooring will be made.

Regardless of the context, each type of resin floor is available in a multitude of finishes and colors. In addition, floors are available with fire retardant, dustproof or anti-static (conductive) treatment.

Impregnating or pellicular coatings

Formed from specific impregnants applied in emisination after preparation of the base substrate. They offer high mechanical properties.

Features and fields of application:

  • Increased mechanical strength of the substrate
  • Good dustproof effect
  • Ideal for use in residential and commercial settings

Pigmented and non-pigmented film coatings

Formed from pigmented and non-pigmented epoxy or polyurethane formulations applied at low and high thickness to industrial floors in good condition.

Features and fields of application:

  • Aesthetically pleasing appearance
  • Remarkable ease of cleaning
  • Good transitability for transport and lifting equipment
  • Ideal for use in industrial settings

Self-levelling coatings

They are pigmented coatings with thicknesses varying between 2 and 3 millimeters. Perfectly smooth , they are available in gloss or matte versions, also conductive. They can be made in all versions of formulations currently available on the market depending on the predestined activity.

Features and fields of application:

  • Realizable with all types of formulations.
  • Aesthetically pleasing appearance
  • Remarkable ease of cleaning
  • Suitable for the transit of light transport and lifting equipment
  • Suitable for contact with aggressive substances
  • Suitable for environments subject to static current (conductive floor)
  • Available in approved Fire Class 1 version for implementation in sites where explosive or flammable materials are used

Multilayer coatings

They are pigmented coatings with varying thicknesses between 2 and 5 millimeters, non-slip R.11-12-13. Available in gloss or matte versions, also conductive. Applicable in all versions of formulations currently available on the market depending on the predestined activity. They guarantee high chemical-mechanical resistance characteristics.

Features and fields of application:

  • Realizable with all types of formulations
  • Ideal in environments subject to chemical-mechanical stress
  • Suitable for the transit of light transport and lifting equipment
  • Suitable for food-use environments, such as wineries, food production facilities, delicatessens, slaughter plants, and more
  • Anti-slip properties balanced according to the activities performed
  • Easy and quick to sanitize
  • Compliant with current regulations

High-strength semisynthetic coatings

Suitable for heavy traffic environments with lifting equipment and heavy loads. Expected thickness averages 8-10 mm, with load bearing capacity up to 900 kg/cm². Aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean.

Features and fields of application:

  • Ideal in environments subject to chemical-mechanical stress
  • Suitable for the transit of heavy transport and lifting equipment
  • Available in approved Fire Class 1 version for implementation in sites where explosive or flammable materials are used
